Mud Brigade

Hi Ladies,

New to Northern Colorado, the Mud Brigade is the first 5K Mud Run/Adventure Race to hit the Front Range corridor! It is at The Ranch in Loveland - expect a day full of MUD, Fun, Entertainment & Great People Watching! The Ranch has over 100 acres of undeveloped terrain that will be transformed into approximately 3.2 miles of challenging obstacles, mud pits, dirt running trails, and more mud!

Kids ages 5 years to 11 years will have a separate mini mud run course for their waves!

I will be doing the race and would love some company! It would be fun to get a group together and get dirty:)

These types of events are very popular, people seem to love them. I have been waiting for awhile for one to come to Northern Colorado...it did and am so happy it is so close!

For more information about the race go here: http://mudbrigadenoco.com/

Let me know if anyone is interested.

The event is on September 10 - cost $55 and you can register till noon on the 9th.

First Day of School!!!!!

Photobucket

(me starting Kindergarten- 6 years old...you can laugh.)

Today was the first day of school for most of us. Summer went by too quickly:) Hopefully everyone had a good summer and is ready for the routines that come along with school starting.

Do you guys have first day of school traditions?

Here is a fun website that I came across....here.

I love to hear about everyone's traditions.

One tradition that we do at the start of the school year is my husband gives our kids a special blessing and prayer to our children. This is common in our faith. This blessing might include things such as; to be happy, healthy, kind, successful in their learning, and to make friends.

Here is to a good school year!

Corn Roast Festival- Loveland

When we moved here from San Francisco 4 years ago the Corn Roast Festival was the first "event" that we went to here in Northern Colorado. Since then it has become a tradition in our family.

They have live bands playing, DELICIOUS roasted corn, food stands, and other fun activities for the kids. We are headed down there this weekend for some fun.

Here is some more info on the event.

Hopefully I'll see some of you there!
